Bahia spans extremes: five-star reviews praise spacious layouts and engaged staff; one-star accounts report chronic pest issues, delayed repairs, and dismissive management. The property has changed hands and shifted in quality over its tenure, with older reviews suggesting better conditions under newer ownership (2015+) than recent complaints indicate.
Most recent reviews paint a stark picture of neglected, unsanitary conditions: potholes, rodent and insect infestations, moldy interiors, and structural concerns. Residents and visitors report management dismisses maintenance complaints. One older review praised peaceful living and hands-on management, but 60% of reviews are one or two stars, and safety complaints appear ongoing.
Staff responsiveness stands out: recent managers Angel and Lisa answer calls promptly, fix things fast, and treat residents warmly. The catch is infrastructure trouble that older staff improvements haven't resolved. Multiple reviewers report rodents and broken AC; one reviewer called the property disgusting after a mouse infestation. Location in Oak Cliff appeals to those seeking a close-knit vibe, but pest and climate-control issues recur across years.
