Our Review

Half of Estelle Village's reviews are one or two stars, with persistent complaints about crime, unit conditions, and office conduct. A small group praises community events and willingness to work with residents on payment, but widespread reports of gunfire, black mold, broken maintenance, and hostile staff responses overshadow any positives.

Staff like Latroya and Talia earn consistent praise for going beyond to shepherd residents through applications and resolve disputes, making the process feel personal and supported. Yet the complex faces recurring problems: unclear lease language around utilities, deferred maintenance (rodents, water damage), winter road treatment lapses that trap residents, and a handful of staff interactions marked by rudeness or unresponsiveness when deposits and refunds are at stake.

Staff in the leasing office earned genuine praise for kindness and follow-through years ago. Since new management arrived mid-2023, maintenance requests pile up for months, roaches persist despite bleach-scrubbed floors, and safety incidents escalate. Residents describe hunting down technicians, waiting in lines to enter gates, and no longer trusting promised repairs. Current conditions divide sharply by tenure: pre-2023 residents recall a functioning community; newer arrivals encounter broken AC units, clogged pipes, and a leasing team that rarely answers phones or returns calls. One reviewer spent six months with no cooling; another watched a window unit promised for months never arrive. The neighborhood's gang and youth supervision troubles surface repeatedly and add to the sense of abandonment.
