The Griffin Apartments
Strong personalities on the leasing and maintenance teams earned multiple five-star mentions, but The Griffin's systems fail residents systematically. Move-in conditions are often filthy, with roaches and mold documented across reviews. AC units go unfixed for months, windows and doors lack proper insulation, and the office phone and email simply do not work. Several tenants report the complex withheld deposits under disputed circumstances and ignored requests for itemized charges. Angel, the maintenance supervisor, and Christina, a leasing agent, have built genuine loyalty when problems reach them directly. But the infrastructure forces residents to physically visit the office during posted hours (which still may be closed). Newcomers often find units not shown before lease signing, with broken appliances and pest infestations on day one. Long-term residents face a trade-off: supportive staff against chronic unresolved infrastructure and billing puzzles.
